The Turbulent Cube is a remake of my 2012
We Are Experiencing Some Turbulence
project with its user interface "fixed".
Inside are a small fan and some nylon balls which can make a hidden sound.
It uses the sensors on the front to decide how much it should care about
responding to motion and light depending on an internal cycle of moods.
It is "fixed" in that over-engineering of the original caused it
to mask its moodyness in favor of always responding (in order to
avoid the classic techno-art audience response problem,
"It must be broken, as usual").
Now, the Turbulent Cube doesn't really
care what you think about it
and responds as it feels fit.
