Chorus Line
2006 -- 8x15x9" -- wall hung
The Chorus Line is driven by the same analog electronic circuit
as the Organ and Random Balls III. In this case the set of simulated
integrate-and-fire neurons
are coupled together in a way that allows them to synchronize into
a fixed sequence. The legs kick when the neurons fire, and like
the Organ, the timing is dependent on ambient lighting using
photocells. When the line sequence is disturbed the neural
coupling slowly pulls it back into sync.
