Some photographs of my paternal forebears I've dug out of the archives.
All of the Schippling clan from my grandfather Gustave's generation down were born in Ontario, Canada, with me being the exception. My great-grandparents on grandfather's side emigrated from Germany or Poland (depending on the political whim of the day) to Canada in the late 1800's, and on grandmother's side had been in Canada (also from Germany) for more than a generation.
